BIOGRAPHY

Plugging aside, coming from Bridgeport, Connecticut, a 2001 baby named Anthony Louis Johnson, came too far to hold every weight of himself or the world rather that he presses that he don't ever deserve. Calling his freedom from the pressure of life self-therapy, breaking away his long silence. But that's not always a piece of cake on his part. Let us being the story, shall we?

On the personal side of the vinyl/CD, obviously meaning his life. Sprinkle it with a mix of the second part of Genesis 1, formless and dark: never comprehended much growing; a black child from the "goody two shoes" personality, to almost immature adult mentality, although it was too soon. Grew up hating math, a class clown, getting bullied left to right, fights and hailstorms like there was no other, and of course, dealt with so much heavy laundry, from that introduction and not caring at all. In that case, there was temporarily toxic masculinity... hopefully.

Brighter side of the disc now, also sprinkle that with a mix of the third part of Genesis: there was light. Before he could finally perfect his English as far as lyrics, the best humble beginnings: studying from gospel to hip-hop/R&B to maybe a few forms of pop or rock.

As years went by as an early teen, it was like, "If this was how folks were making their music, what were they using with their music as far as recording? And how?" Banging his nails on his parents computer, and then more advanced technology had blown his mind.

Various operating systems and DAWs, fast forward his own past computers at the time. The gibberish/mumbling and the copying came about up until he remained instrumental. Not dealing with forced pressures to "rap" from the dome or anything. Mind you, this was before TikTok and others.

This particular bug, however, bit him in an advanced way if you will, as he was becoming a high school freshman. Such a geeky N.E.R.D fanatic, Star Trak signs as soon as he not only left his first school dance, but his first elementary school graduation too.

Summer and Fall 2015 put a little smile on the face of his imagination. Bandcamp set the tone, so much so that he went on to begin his first EP series on the platform, In My Dreams. From the first, to the second, to the following first albums: Virgo I-III, Fall Is In The Air, Peace On Earth, and Leather Black the same year.

Maybe 2016 got even better, but it wasn't easy on his part. Taking advice from a fellow student to slow down, cause In My Dreams EP 3 and more were released too early. But for him, that was okay. He didn't know he was doing that, being used to listening to his music on the phone. The Bandcamp mobile app couldn't let him listen to the draft at the time.

The big challenge, haywire activities as he was still finishing high school. DLWIHE, The Rebirth of Anthony Louis Johnson (2016/2017), Neptunes & Peace Signs: The Prelude. Moving foward, DAWN, and then the producer bug has gotten to him when Alihoopa was still active before it ended a year after. Amir Fels, one of the first artists to record over one of his beats. The "Take It Out Ya Mouth" beat became "Milkman". (Forgot to mention The Preacher's Kid series were still being worked on.) After all of that, it was like, "Okay, I'm starting to get a hang of this. I'm a rebel in this. I wanna produce for more people too when it's all said and done." LuBosh, then-named Mojitto or Ayash before sidetracks, shown major props and also laid vocals over his older beats. Xitruc NiVri was there too.

His works got mature after The Preacher's Kid series in 2019, so he thought "Okay, let me try something more different." Survivor's Guilt sessions were esoteric, the text-to-speech over synthesizers and chord progressions like crazy. Synthesized orchestra coming into play while coping with actual survivor's guilt, depression, PTSD, and others. Detail, everyone. Details. Revitialization is more than just chords, melodies, and rhythms, it was visualizations of what happens next after this life.

2020, COVID-19 pandemic bred a lot of depression and riots. Going solo for Anthony was hard after No More Excuses, made him very angry that some lost interests in him, which again, he didn't know. But June 2020, all was close to forgiven: moving on to the vision of Anthony himself and Xitruc's version of The Tunnel. Higher level motivation in advance when the Article series were being worked on.

Through The Storm was an inspired by watching random IG Live conversations, overcoming his first creative depression, and being the opposite of a person who mostly kick "fans" or "Stans" while they're down. Those beats are his views of that, coming to adult age. He mentions that part to be an inspiration coming from scenarios like that, the instrumentals are his way of replying, "We don't care whoever they are neither. You're with me now. Before you try to scrap, just because you're asking for autographs and getting rejected at the same time to the point where you'll break and get out of pocket, let's have a group chat and break these walls."

Voracity in '21, the concept of money and which cooperation are behind it. Financial crucifixion, as Anthony call it, coming from contractual and government sides of the world's money problem. Almost an ideal comparison to either Jesus Christ or Makaveli (Tupac Amaru Shakur, RIP), which were also the inspiration behind Voracity. But as far as 20s on the personal side, it still wasn't enough. No need to ask why it got heavier than the year before. As his former favorite artist Ye (before it was over) would say, "Sadness setting in again. 3, 2, 1, you're pinned."

Nope, not for long. Sometimes Revenge Is Important. Getting his strength back mentally and emotionally in 2022, which music, drawing, and expressing hisself off the keys are his best powers to remurge. But self-forgiveness was a heavy rock. After all the losses of "friendships" and controversies circling him over the rocky years, Anthony decided that he's had enough of the BS towards him, which caused him talks of giving up. (988 means you're not alone.) So therapy in 2023 and 2024 became a fight for his life and 'relevancy' as a person first, and challenges of how he had to do and go for self.

Piggy back on regaining the strength to become himself again, Skiptomy.lou (Virgo 2024), the fourth and final installment of Virgo, was the slowest fast-fowarding to recovery. The start of the record begins with an imaginable fantasy never orchestrated before, and then the album ends with snapping into reality after a long sleep leading to rehabilitation. Anthony conceptionally likens [the BC-ROM EP series and] the album to nationwide usages of AI, Melatonin, Fentanyl, drugged foods, school violence, teenage pregnancy, harrassment, and corruption within other adults that run schools nationwide. (And all of that was what "Dealers of Fractured Jaw", a three/four-in-one jam session from both BC-ROM II: Let's Talk About It & Virgo 2024, was about.)

This is getting pretty good. 2025 came, and his favorite word, as always, "Finally." The rapping started with laying some of his first words over one of Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly frenzies, "The Blacker The Berry." Addressing the current issues that's been getting even worse than the COVID-19 pandemic and police brutality, including the Zhejiang university situation that invoked his real tears 3 years prior, "January 6-ism," tarrif threats, antisemitism, the No Kings Act, Tesla, and wars on immigrants. ESPECIALLY BLACKS.

"Behind The Scenes," with 10 Wormz (from Behind The Will EP 2), another breath of fresh air. Three human beings on wax telling their life stories of how the passion for the art came about. Ant's favorite part, as mentioned earlier, is the mumbling and copying up until it wasn't enough, and how he stayed instrumental throughout.

Going at it naturally on a clipboard, binder, and pencil this time. the Wanted Dead Or Alive EP starts with the heavier following: "Enterrogation," being the first track, was written from his perspective in September or October 2024, after the controversy of you-know-who-else started spreading all over the news. So much so that he takes a few pieces of printer paper and write down the hard parts. Basically having to take the mask off and say, "Look, I have a problem. Never in about 10 to 20 years would I ever thought that I have to admit this on paper. This particular addiciton that I've been brought up with myself, it's still hurting those around me. It's been so hard for me to come clean, but I can't hold this. Hearing about all the DV in the world and all this is making me come to grips with and admit this demon of mine the hard way. No, seriously, this isn't funny at all. But do I really deserve this torture if I have to come clean about this? Or will I ever be forgiven?" Anthony, before and after this concept came out, still regrets his master manipulation when it comes to personal vulnerabilities.

With the song, ALJ is grateful regardless of small recognition. "Enterrogation" was more than an upbeat studying of 2Pac and Outlawz' "Starin' Thru My Rearview" and other artists and their songs. The song was his reset button to tell his real life story again using a microphone and English. "If anybody write songs about their personal laundry including drugs, guns, and alcohol, and how they've became overcomers in hard difficulty, then why not write about my personal laundry, and it's not drugs, guns or alcohol, but even deeper than that?" Anthony thinks to himself before and after making the song.

Tonyversial to the rescue, ALJ did his best to break more silence. With pinches of late 90s/early 2000s hip-hop, trap, rock/nu-metal, and old school frequencies, you can catch him [as he imagines himself] in a brown bag over his face and his casual outfits, ducking and bustin'; back at censorship, the polictically/parasocial correct (or toxic conservatism), and somewhat pointing out the evils of industries and cultures alike after years of his own silence, and "Punch It" and "Judgment Day 2030" being a few of them. "Tony," his childhood nickname from birth, and "versial," short for controversial. Dropping the "contro," and putting his nickname in front of second half, is a standout for those who were unwillingly forced to stay silent and comply to Gen-Z or societal norms, involving self-expression. Anthony's message behind the alias is this, "Stop holding back. Keep your lips away from these "powerful" people's buttocks. BREAK OUT. SCRAP LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SCRAPPED IN A LONG WHILE. Remember, I don't care about gender or religion wars. We in this together."

The future for Anthony Louis Johnson is getting closer for a reason, that's if God and Christ in Heaven gives him more breath and life in his body as he's still living. Almost everybody has their way of putting food on tables, paying bills, coping with stress and having to heal first in order to burry hatchet with one another. Whether you're used to Anthony or not, let it be as he breaks every wall down.

Coming up next, he will burn the books of the same weights being life's traps that holds him back from his first and forever love.
